How to Grow Bean Sprouts at Home by Trinh Gonzalez

Chopsticks Alley Eats

Ingredients:

Mung Beans

Strainer

Directions:

Soak mung beans for 10 hours

Spread the beans over a cloth in a strainer

Put the strainer over a bigger pot

Cover the strainer with a lid or dark towel and leave in a warm spot

Water the beans everyday

Beansprouts should begin to appear in 4 days 😊.

Remember to water them everyday until they are ready every 3-4 days and dump the water that sits in the bottom bowl.

Once they are ready, you can shake them off in the sink upside down and the green mung bean shells will fall off. Sprouts can then be refrigerated with roots still attached to the cloth for over a week. Cut off what you need to eat.
